Today Quantic Gaming announced their new League of Legends team that consists of former professional LoL players from Korea, including Locodoco and Woong.
After the issues Quantic Gaming had during the Season 3 spring split, and players changing organization to Cloud 9, the LoL team is reborn with a brand new roster consisting of former professional players from Korea. The full list includes:
- Cheolwoo 'Apple' Jeong - Mid
- Dusik 'Prime' Yun - Jungle
- Yoonsup 'Locodoco' Choi - Team Captain and AD Carry
- Gunwoong ' Woong' Jang - Top
- Gunhee 'Gunza' Jung - Support
By creating a fully Korean team, Quantic aim to achieve a competitive advantage and requalify for the NA LCS. The players aren't completely new to each other play styles, since Locodoco and Woong have previously played together. In addition, Gunza and Prime were together on Maximum Impact Gaming Blitz, while Apple was part of Maximum Impact Gaming Wicked, which Woong was temporary player of as well. For now, the team will stay in the Quantic gaming house in California and since League of Legends was recently accepted as official sport, the players will not have any problems with their working visas.
