IEM San Jose has been one of the most anticipated tournaments in recent months, and for good reasons. IEM Gamescom was the first event in over ten seasons of the circuits history to feature a Counter-Strike event, and extremely popular with the fans due to it's quirky format and laid-back atmosphere.
Intel will be upping the ante this time around though, putting $175,000 on the line for the eight teams to fight for a piece of in San Jose, California. This event will use a more traditional direct elimination bracket instead of the life-based system at Gamescom, with single loss dropping a team from the event. Check out the bracket below:
