MYM vs SK

The first game of LCS starts off interesting as we once again see Quinn locked in for SK.  However,as the curse continues, they would not seize a win with this pick.  In one of the roughest games we've seen yet, MYM completely shanks SK into a 10-0 start in what would be probably the most unclose game we've seen since Gambit Gaming vs. Lemondogs.

Czaru was able to consistently hold 100 CS over 10 minute standards and become an absurdly rich Orianna, assisting in fights like no other and really setting up his team for victory.  Unfortunately for the SK squad, they would not be able to woo the fans with an awesome performance as they typically have at lan events and instead suffer one of the most humiliating defeats in history to what appears to be MYM returning to their aggressive and affirmative roots.

EG vs FNC

The second game is the debut of Evil Geniuses' new jungler, Shacker, as Snoopeh step down for a while to test the newcomer in the battlefield. The change proved to be worth it, as they snatched a win from xPeke and the rest of Fnatic.

Utilizing a rushdown, double marksman strategy. Froggen on Twitch and Yellowpete on Caitlyn rained destrcution from afar, while the rest provided amazing peel with webs, chains, and Unstoppable Force. With the fast pushes on the outer and inner turrets, Fnatic wasn't able to do their signature splitpush style and got crushed under the constant pressure the rejuvenated EG squad had.

GMB vs LD

It is a runback this next game, as Gambit Gaming are out for payback after their humiliating loss to Lemondogs last time they met. With Mithy as the Spanish representative for this match, the rookies are out to create another huge upset and step over the Russian overlords once more. Alex Ich and his men, however, have different plans.

Once again going for their comfort picks such as Miss Fortune and Kassadin, Gambit this time got their groove and played like the dominating top team we have all known and loved. Though Lemondogs managed to take down two middle turrets in just under five minutes, they weren't able to capitalize on the advantage. With relentless pressure early game and crisp teamfighting, Alex Ich's Kassadin snowballed hard and annihilated his foes, even getting a Mejai's Soulstealer to stamp their win even harder.

NiP vs ATN

For the last game of the day, it was all up to Araneae and Team ALTERNATE for snag victory for the Spanish crowd. However, with their current struggles due to the lack of Creaton, it proved to be unsuccessful against Ninjas in Pyjamas, who with their roster change a few weeks back rocketed themselves up the standings and are now close to be the top team of the European LCS.

Throughout the game, Bjergsen showed Forellenlord that he could also pull off the 3000 ELO shockwave, as ALTERNATE kept being caught again and again with Orianna's ult during teamfights. Add to that the AoE lockdown power of extinkt on Kennen and Malunoo on Zac, and NiP trampled all over the map and secured a win.
