Counter Logic Gaming keeps getting better and better, while Vulcun and Coast enter a brawlfest.

TSM vs CLG

It's the battle of the old guard, as the Spring champions continue to struggle against the top teams this season, whereas the potential of Counter Logic Gaming just keeps getting more and more refined. TSM went for a very comfortable team composition this time with armor shredding from Nasus and Renekton, unlike their disastrous triple bruiser lineup. CLG, meanwhile, chose a well-balanced team comp, with Nientonsoh picking up a pocket Irelia out of nowhere.

Communication is the main lesson to be learned in the match, as the good and bad aspects are clearly shown. TSM never seemed to get the engagements they wanted, and Reginald kept getting caught out; as a Twisted Fate, this should have been avoidable. As for CLG, they dispalyed beautiful coordination, knowing when and how to engage, with Nocturne, Thresh and Irelia providing an annoying frontline that cannot be ignored, while Orianna and Ezreal fire away from a distance. Needless to say, CLG takes the win and and goes 3-0 against their long-time rival.

VUL vs CST

With both on a 1-1 standing this week, both Vulcun Techbargains and Team Coast are out for a positive end. The two teams just seemed to want to go ham this match, as they picked aggressive champions, with strong poke from Sycho Sid's Jayce and Shiptur's Orianna, junglers with heavy initiation, and hooks from either side, allowing sudden picks.

To say that it is action-packed is an understatement. After the first engagment early on, the battles never seemed to stop, as ganks and counterganks just kept happening. Though NintendudeX got ganked for first blood, he managed to recover by simply helping push the duo lane. Vulcun's Xmithie, however, was a MVP of this match, as his long-range initiations with Zac made fights happen as they pleased. Bout after bout, VUL kept getting a slight advantage over CST, until it just got too huge for Elementz' boys to come back.

DIG vs CRS

After that miraculous comeback win from Curse Gaming, they went up against Team Dignitas, who are still undefeated this week. Scarra and co. chose a strong, global-pick comp, with Twisted Fate and Nocturne allowing for strong plays across the map. For Saintvicous and his men, it was a more aggressive, dive-heavy team with Voyboy on Lee Sin this time.

This match was way different from the previous one as instead of champions, it was the turrets that kept falling down early on in the game. In fact, it was around the ten minute mark that first blood even happened. The pace picked up after that fight, however, with CRS' carries from each lane stepping up to the plate. From Voyboy's kicks, to Nyjacky's orbs, all the way to Cop's axes, they shut down DIG's gloabal presence and took the win, leaving the weekend with a favorable 2-1.
