In order to remain at a competitive level, Fnatic has made a roster change, with their support removed from the team.

In an announcement from Fnatic’s official website, Team Manager Harry “hxd” Wiggett and AD Carry Bora “YellOwStaR” Kim officially announced that Christoph “nRated” Seitz is out of the roster. Both of them have cited internal issues, as well as motivation problems.

In addition, YellOwStaR himself decided to step out of the AD Carry role and into support, making good use of his duo lane experience. Taking up the vacant position would be Johannes “puszu” Uibos, a top tier Solo Queue player. However, this is only temporary, as Martin “Rekkles” Larsson would become their official new AD Carry once he turns 17.

Other than the statements made in the Fnatic website, individual members had also spoken about the change in their Facebook pages, in particular Lauri “CyanideFI: Haponnen’s post, with Paul “sOAZ” Boyer’s agreement, and of course, nRated’s thoughts as well.

Whether or not the Spring Champions would be back to their former glory is to be seen in the upcoming weeks of the European LCS.
