Day 1 Skills Competition brings favorable results to China

Though unbroadcasted, the results are in for the first part of the Skills Competition with Two victories from China, One from Korea, and one from Europe.
Things are spicing up just before the Day 1 broadacast and the flames of Magma Chamber are forging fierce battles to bring us further in the bracket at the start of the broadcast. Though the matches were not shown live as it is before the tournament date, Riot has confirmed that the VODs of the 1v1's between the combatants will be released later on.
The first game of night would be LPL vs. EU. EU opted for a slightly more traditional lane setup with Blitzcrank Kennen, but the Chinese conquered with their very unusual lane of Kennen with a support Annie. The game can be won by destroying turrets, killing 100 minions, or scoring kills on the opposition. A duel in favor of LPL with a well landed tibbers allowed China to flourish with their strange composition and proceed onward.
China would find luck a second time against their foes in Southeast Asia. Though a jungle vs. jungle battle, Troll decided to play the game of attrition and go with the cheeky, non-jungle pick of Twisted Fate to acquire a victory by farming 100 CS towards the more conventional Lee Sin. Creativity once again gave China a win to advance to the next round of the skills competition.
Game Three would feature Dyrus vs. Shy, Dyrus trying to bring the innovation out for North America but not bringiing the results of China. Despite his best efforts to shove Shy into tower and farm effectively using Soraka and spamming Starcall, Shy's Kennen was able to out harass and eventually kill Dyrus.
Europe would get their hands wet with the first victory for them featuring none other than their AP carry representative Alex Ich taking down Scarra, who chose to go with Lulu mid, an archaic pick once dominant in the past. However, Alex Ich's hero choice would bat the eye of any onlookers as well as he decided to go with Quinn. Abusing the range advantage, Alex would take the opportunity to apply adequate damage via poking Scarra when he came into farm, eventually pummeling him down into submission.
