Only two spots for the massive DreamHack Summer 2013 are left open with compLexity Gaming securing their place in the tournament today. In an epic series with a lot of highs and some lows, the North Americans pulled through iG to get the ticket to the World Championship event.

It was the last Thursday when some words between compLexity Gaming and Internet Gangsters were exchanged on the brink of a "misshapen" during the draft stage of the Upper Bracket Semifinals. The actions caused a lot of response in the community and build up somewhat of a rivalry between the two squads. The rematch today was filled with confident players in the pre-game interviews, some lag issues once again, epic matches and compLexity Gaming winning in a 5-hour HoN marathon.

After the North American organization had to concede the first match, despite iNsania lagging out during the last team fight and the iG team finishing up the game in a 4v5 setting, the lead that the newcomer team from Europe had build up for themselves over the first 45 minutes of the game was just too much for coL to handle. In fact iNsania dropped out near the end of the team fight, so the actual affect on the fight itself and the final minutes of the game was not as significant as it might sound.

A long pause cooled down the action for quite some time with iNsania solving his connection issues and fUzi suddenly experiencing connection problems himself, so the team was forced to replace the Swedish mid player with their sixth man on the roster - the Greek player FibUnk0. The brother of YeYe's FibEli3 played a great game in his debut to the series, but him and his team couldn't get a victory over the fuming coL team.

As prophesied by iNsania in the pre-game interview the series went the distance - to all three maps. The last match saw the interesting combination between Engineer and Flux, while bkid drafted Tempest, Magmus, Torturer and Ophelia for his lineup. Still iG also had one of noobG's trademark heroes in The Dark Lady to contend  with coL in the late game - a phase that would never quite be entered in this match. coL capitalized on their combined push power that Torturer, Tempest and Ophelia provided early on, getting themselves a smooth start into the closer. noobG tried to farm his items quickly, but the force that compLexity's lineup imposed in the early and mid game was just too much too handle. Around 35 minutes iG stuck in the game, but after a huge Elemental Void and a near genocide, the fairly new team of iG had to check this game as a learning experience, not as a win in their books.

With that victory the North American organization with their captain bkid will once again make their way to the DreamHack festivities - the stage where their impressive reign over the HoN scene ended last winter. Back then they marched into the tournament as the clear favorite, but ultimately falling in the Grand Finals against Trademark eSports. They will get their shot at redemption at DreamHack Summer 2013 - with their position shifted. They are not the favorites to win the tournament, the target won't be on their back, the pressure is not resting on the shoulders of the squad. They can just enter the event and put all their focus on their own game - gunning to snap the streak of Stay Green on one of the biggest stages HoN has to offer.
