Dan "Artosis" Stemkoski, WCG'04 attendant for USA took part in the WCG 2005 Online Tournament Beta test, among 135 others. He played a total of 44 games, where 41 were registered as wins, placing him #1. The first prize in this tournament was an Nvidia GeForce 5600, a powerful video card. The tournament was ladder-based, and only Americans were allowed to take part. Despite that some other nationalities were represented in the ladder, but as expected mostly Americans filled up the ladder.
Artosis (pic) collected a total of 710 points, 21 points higher than the runner-up iPRePTaR who landed on 689 points. Other known names in the ladder were Cypressman and rS.eVade who ended in the Top 5. Although, none of them will receive a prize except for Artosis. Instead, the second nVIDIA video card will go to a "...randomly chosen gamers from those who have submitted a bug and opinion report for each game".
