Two Fall regionals and three open qualifiers to get there-- the Fall championship circuit officially begins July 10th.
This week, it was announced that ESL will be hosting the two North American Fall season events for the 2016 Heroes of the Storm Global Circuit. The first three-day event will be held on August 5-7th an at the ESL Studios in Burbank, California. Held in front of a live studio audience, the tickets to watch such an event are yet to go on sale.
The second NA Regional will be held at PAX West in September. The winners of the first regional will automatically be invited to PAX with the three open qualifers throughout august to determine the remaining teams.
For now those, these are the dates you have to be concerned with:
- July 10: Open Qualifier 1
- July 17: Open Qualifier 2
- July 24: Open Qualifier 3
These are the dates for the first 3 open qualifiers. Anyone can sign up to play and over $100,000 is at stake. Not only are these NA teams fighting for the opportunity to represent their region, but the Fall Championships is arguably the most important one to date, as the finals are taking place at the holiest of all arenas: BlizzCon.
