
Team Liquid announced a 32 team open tournament for both professionals and amateurs.
The Super Brawl, as it's named, will be double elimination style and welcomes a mix of professional and amateur teams. The total prize pool is $2,250 split between the top 3 finishers. While the amount may not be significant for professional teams, the tournament is sanctioned by Blizzard will a top 8 finish will provide seeding points for the July North America Open (which is part of the Road to Blizzcon).
In line with the more casual atmosphere, the tournament will be self-driven until the semi-finals. Players are welcome to cast their own games, and respective captains must report their own victories. From the Semi-finals onward, Jake "JakeGG" Kulinsky will be streaming the event and providing his usual commentary.
The tournament will be on North America servers only, and best of three until the Grand Finals (best of five).
Registration is currently open until June 27th, the same day as when the tournament launches. (You can register up to five minutes before the tournament starts)

- 1st Place - $1,000 - + 80 seeding points
- 2nd Place - $750 - + 55 seeding points
- 3rd-4th Place - $250 - + 20 seeding points
- 5th-8th Place - + 10 seeding points
