The Twitch 2014 streamer and viewer awards were announced yesterday with winners announced for both viewers and streamers and a prize pool of over $100,000.

There were three main categories, viewer awards (most active subscriptions), streamer awards (Most Active Chat seemed like a coveted award) and game-specific awards. As can be expected, Heroes was not well represented in the overall awards, the viewer and streamer volume is nowhere near as developed as the established Blizzard games.

In the Heroes category, in a small upset, Crendor was voted the best overall stream beating out notable streamers such as Grubby and Khaldor. Khaldor did beat Grubby in best Educational stream, and finally TownHall Heroes was voted by Community Show.

The prize pool was very equitable with $2014 for first place, $1000 for second and $100 decrease in prize amount from there until 5th place.

Congratulations to all of the streams on a new and exciting 2014! Check out the full list of winners here.
