Two maps announced at Gamescom for StarCraft themed “Machines of War” event

Nuclear Launch Detected; zerg rush and nukes will arrive to the Nexus soon
The Heroes of the Storm team just unveiled two StarCraft themed new maps at Gamescom that are sure to hit fans of the legendary RTS right in the feels. All minions, mercenary camps, and structures are Starcraft themed and each map introduces mechanics into the Nexus which aim to capture some of StarCraft’s signature features.
The first map is Braxis Holdout, the junkyard port of Scion. It’s a floating platform in space where Terran factions are battling for control. Each team can build up a Zerg rush in pens and unleash them upon their opponents.
The next map is Warhead Junction. This map helps players know what it feels like to be a Ghost in Starcraft 2. Specifically, a Ghost with nukes. These nukes will pop up at various locations around the map and players will have the opportunity to secure them for later use. This is the first map that actually grants players a new ability as securing a nuke will enamble the ability to launch from their Command Card.
Nukes do huge area damage to structures and % health damage to heroes. Multiple heroes can have nukes at the same time but if a player holding a nuke dies, the nuke can be picked up by either team.
Both Maps are playable at gamescom so look forward to more details and gameplay coming soon.
