The Open bracket phase is done and thus the time for more pool games is here. The first few games featured some big names like July, Tyler and Ret.

Tyler scores another loss in his group after being owned by his team-mate Ret. Tyler, who opened the first set on Shakuras Plateau beautifully by denying the third for Zerg twice made the grave mistake of going for pure unupgraded Stalker army and refusing to take a third.
The Liquid protoss opened with nice 1 Zealot/1 Stalker aggression on Xel'Naga Caverns but his mid-game was again not the best possible. By taking an aggressive gold third, Tyler almost like begged Ret to do something and that he did, rallying his endless Roaches and overlorded Banelings, pouring destruction as he marched forward.

July also won his first pool game as Moonan did not stand a chance against the God of War. Using the mobility of Zerg, July kept harassing the Terran with mutas while doing ling/baneling run-byes to deny him any further expansions and stop the marine drops. And after winning this first set on Metalopolis, July showed that he outclasses Moonan even further and peeled him apart on Shakuras Plateau using mutalisk only and finishing the deal with massive ling/baneling carpet of units.

It is indeed a good event for the Swarm as three of the MLG pools are currently being topped by the Zerg players Losira, Idra and Slush.
