Face is the place in Hearthstone’s latest Tavern Brawl, where your hero has Taunt and 10 extra armor.
Following last week’s Deck’s Assemble rerun, Blizzard have rolled out an all new Tavern Brawl in which your hero gets Taunted up for the first time. Titled Lead from the Front, the concept of this Brawl will surely delight any aggro-happy player, as you and your opponent engage in a mad dash to repeatedly hit each other's faces. Playing an actual minion with Taunt still leaves your hero venerable to attack, hence you both start off with an additional 10 armor.
[card]Mal'Ganis[/card] and [card]Ice Block[/card]’s Immune abilities now instead make your hero lose taunt, leaving them as the immediate strategic choices to come to mind. However, many players have also experimented with other protective measures such as [card]Animated Armor[/card], [card]Lightwell[/card] and [card]Bolf Ramshield[/card] to name a few. In terms of recommended decks to try out, we suggest some variant of Reno Lock, Freeze Mage or (if you want something on the cheap) a Murloc deck - just don’t forget your silences and hard removal cards at home!
