So, we just saw DK take down Alliance and the score is 1-1. What do you think about the game?
I think the main player that played the best is the Beastmaster where he broke up all of Alliance's rhythm to split push with Nature's Prophet. As a result, the Alchemist was getting more and more space to farm because of the presence of the Beastmaster. He controlled a lot of the space and it was very difficult for Prophet to split push and create the typical 2-core Alliance strat which is the Prophet and whatever Loda is using to farm and create a lot of space for each other. The Beastmaster caught Bulldog out a lot of times and the split push was halted.
He went for an Aghanim's first right? So basically he could initiate from like..
Yeah, at 15 minutes as well.
Do you think DK will be able to take another game now that they took one game off Alliance?
It's exactly what happened last year when the undefeated team lost one game and LGD started stumbling. I think there is a possibility for Alliance to recover from this and one thing to keep in mind is, if Bulldog continues getting caught out and he doesn't get to split push, DK should be able to win the game. That's the key.
What kind of picks do you think DK has to get to shut down Alliance?
I think Beastmaster is the best to shut down Bulldog because of the specific set of heroes he play. He either play Prophet or Bounty Hunter to create space for his team. The Beastmaster has the hawk and since Beastmaster is a hero built to get a gem, I guess it's a good way to deal with him.
He goes for Orchid after Shadow Blade normally while normal Prophet goes for hex. Do you think that's effective?
In the first game, he went for Orchid but he was very poor in the second game. I think he only had a hex and he did not even have any damage items because he got caught way too many times.
Do you have other teams you are cheering for?
I just hope the best teams win and I'm just here to watch good Dota.
Not Orange?
I think if they play their best they will be able to. From the last few games, I don't think they are playing their best like the form they had in China playing Dota 2 Super League.
They are playing best-of-one against fnatic later. How do you think the game will go?
I think it will go both ways. Fnatic has fantastic teamplay and chemistry among their players since they have played with each other for four years. They may not have the best individual skills like Orange but with their teamplay and the strategy they run is fantastic as well. Fnatic will have the advantage in teamplay and tactical point of view.
Do you think Meepo will work?
I hope it works but I don't think so.
So what have you been doing after your team lost?
I have just been watching. Hanging out with some people and just thinking on what I want to do next.
Unfortunately, your team went 0-15. What do you think went wrong?
We are just not good enough. There's nothing more I can say. The roster wasn't good enough and everything just wasn't good enough.
Is it lack of practice?
No, not really. We had a good month of preparation and it was just down to the roster not working and the team in general not working. A lot of changes need to be done for the team to work and we don't deserve to even win one game.
What kind of changes do you think MUFC will make after the tournament?
Only time will tell. I can't really say what is going to be changed now. It's most likely the roster.
We'll see you watching the next two days?
Yeah, definitely.
Do you plan to go shopping or anything?
Maybe after the tournament.
Did you manage to shop at the secret shop?
Um.. no. I only got a lot of cosmetic items. I hope they sync it to my account. I heard that when you tap the item to the scanner, it doesn't like to your ID.
I'm sure it does. I think you have to go to the counter.
I already did that but I did not get the item.
Alright, in any case, who do you think is going to win the game?
I think either Na`Vi or DK will be the champion. Alliance as well, these are the top three.
Thanks for the interview.
