Kaipi came back from a 2-0 deficit in Steelseries Euro Cup grand final yesterday against Team Life to take first place in the tournament.

A fierce fight broke out in the grand final of the Steelseries Euro Cup in which Kaipi defeated Team Life 3-2 to clinch first placing and $750 in cash prize.

Both Kaipi and Team Life were seeded directly to the quarter-finals of the tournament and debut facing aSpera and GamersLeague respectively. After winning the quarter-finals with relative ease, Kaipi faced Team Menace and took the match 2-0. Team Life suffered a road bump against Next.kz in the semis but it was nothing they could handle.

In the grand final, Team Life was off to a great start, winning the first two games of the best-of-five series but they suffered a loss in the third game Weh Sing 'SingSing' Yuen's Shadow Fiend. Kaipi carried the momentum to the fourth game and forced a five-game series in which they staged the first big comeback after The International 3.

With the win, Kaipi net themselves gold in the Steelseries Euro Cup while Team Life settled for $250 and a second place finish.
