Group A

Group A of The International 3 just finished and before we head into the playoffs, Dignitas will have to play LGD.cn in a best-of-one tiebreaker to determine who get the winner bracket spot. Coming into their games today, LGD hoped Dignitas would lose at least one game in their match against Fnatic and they would have to take a 2-0 win over Na`Vi to secure the WB spot. After LGD won their first game, Na`Vi picked Pudge and went to town with the hero, forcing a 15 minutes gg from the Chinese.

The tiebreaker will begin after the matches of Group B end, approximately 22:30 CEST. The last time both teams met, Dignitas took over the Chinese favourite in a convincing fashion. The Gosubet for the game can be found here.

In other news, Invasion-MUFC sadly finished the groupstage with no win at all. They will be sent to the lower bracket alongside Zenith who finished with a 6-8 score and Mousesports 4-10.

Day three - Playtime 1 (18:00 CEST)GameResultsMatch infoDignitas vs FnaticMatch tied 1-1Dignitas won the laning phase in game one and while Fnatic attempted to stage a comeback by grouping up, Dignitas won the first 5v5 engagement of the game with a well-placed Call Down on four heroes. The second game was a lot more even. Dignitas opted for a greedy line-up with Lone Druid, Lifestealer and Dragon Knight and ended up not being able to defend the early pushes by Fnatic despite a fair trade during the laning phase.Zenith vs MUFCZenith won 2-0Game one between Zenith and MUFC is a game with many mistakes. MUFC were able to capitalize on a few mistakes of Zenith and managed to pull ahead. During mid-game, MUFC started getting picked off and that in turn led iceiceice's Alchemist to get a hell of a farm winning them the game. MUFC continued getting picked off in the second game and this time, iceiceice was on the Anti-Mage and he once again led his team to victory.Na`Vi vs LGDMatch tied 1-1Despite a horrifying laning stage, LGD pulled themselves together and won the teamfights mid-game. With the advantage gathered during mid-game, LGD pushed with an overfarmed Gyrocopter to secure the win. Na`Vi went for the bold Pudge pick in the second game and we expected nothing less from Dendi. The offensive led by Pudge gained Na`Vi a 15-5 kill score, forcing LGD to call the gg after just 15 minutes.DK vs MouzDK won 2-0For the first game of the series, Mousesports used a four-protect-one strategy with Phantom Lancer, but were not successful against the aggressive line-up of DK that stripped Black^ of any farming potential. The second encounter was much more balanced, with the Priestess of the Moon pick-up by Mouz bringing an element of surprise in favor of the Germans. However DK triumphed in the end as their multiple carries applied too much of a pressure on Mousesports' late game weakened line-up.
