Strong players have been selected to compete for this gigantic chunk of change from China and South Korea. And yet again this tournament will not have any foreigners although one was supposed to attend. David Suncow Al-Dughaither, the one foreigner to participate during this tournament, broke his arm only a few hours before his flight and was unable to go. Four maps were picked for the tournament and they are as follows: Into the Darkness 2, Lost Temple, Luna, and Rivalry – a classical map selection.

The winner of it all receives a total of $14,000 (USD), the runner-up grabs a nice prize of $9,000, third place takes home $5,000, and the fourth placed player gets $2,000. This tournament has the highest grand total prize when compared to its WarCraft3 counterpart and the monster FPS game Counterstrike, both of which only have a total of $20,000 (USD) for their tournaments.
