Semi final day already, Fnatic vs iCCup and Kaipi vs Virtus.pro are the upper bracket semi final match-ups. We are looking towards an entertaining Friday eve of high class Dota.

The two upper bracket semi finals will be played tonight, starting in less than three hours from now. Interesting fact is that the four teams remaining in the uppers are all teams from Group A and B while the four teams advancing form Group C and D have all been knocked down to the lower bracket. Fnatic will be taking on iCCup as the first match of the day, followed by Kaipi vs Virtus.pro. Both matches are due for good action, but most would probably hold the second match-up as the more anticipated one. That being because of Kaipi and Virtus.pro both playing unpredictable and highly aggressive Dota.

Below will be given a short presentation of each match.

?Fnatic are one of the more static teams of the day, resorting to a limited hero pool. Whether it is because of their comfort in these heroes or their inability to try others have yet to be said, there is no reason to refer to new dynamics if they are still achieving results. It is also worth noting that they are not afraid to change it up, throwing different heroes into the mix from time to time. ICCup are still underdogs in the scene and are definitely an underdog in this match, despite recent success at StarLadder. They have a quite fixed play style, relying on a dominant mid performance as well as a heavy focus on the other core players, leaving the supports playing a very selfless game. Needless to say, they favour a very aggressive playstyle. Fnatic being the more experienced team is the team most people expect to win this match but iCCup have been known to overthrow more experienced teams before. Not only by using pocket strats but also by lane dominance and better rotations.

Both teams got a vast hero pool to choose from, with Kaipi having the more chaotic play style and being harder to predict. Virtus.pro resort to a certain style of playing with a certain hero roles filled even though the actual heroes picked vary a lot from game to game. In other words, both teams are very challenging to cripple through bans. Instead they will both look to play their own game while possibly counter the other team's picks. There is no clear favourite in this match as both teams are unpredictable and highly dependant on what shape their day will be in, both of team got huge potential and are capable of beating most teams when they are performing at their top level. Virtus.pro got the advantage of having played longer together but have been known to choke from time to time during important matches. Both of the teams are capable of resorting to various playstyles while having some extremely aggressive invididual players. It will be a highly entertaining match, for sure.
