Game 1
Starting the game picking up an invisible rune, Lifestealer attempted to intercepted Gyrocopter on the top lane but Era's supports were too far away for Fnatic to do anything. Mousesports immediately rotated Bane and Naga top to assist Gyrocopter in farming. While Fnatic's Visage moved towards the bottom lane, Mousesports thought they have it good and aggressively pulled the jungle camps resulting in an opening for the Lifestealer to claim First Blood. On his last breath, Bane slept himself and successfully denied Lifestealer the first kill in the process. The First Blood came on the bottom lane against the Tinker but the Germans were quick to teleport and got two revenge kills on the Visage and Nature's Prophet.
At the 10th minute mark, the scale has quickly tipped in favour of Fnatic, taking a big win over Mousesports sloppy attempt to protect the Puck from a five-man gank on the middle lane. Five minutes later, it was Fnatic's turn to be sloppy as three of their heroes got caught in Naga's sleep, standing very close to one another. All three heroes died to Mousesports wide array of AOE skills.
20 minutes in, both teams traded three kills for three and the game was once again dead even with Fnatic holding only a 500 gold lead on Mousesports. Both teams are eager in showcasing their mid-game dominance and this resulted in fights after fights, in most cases were won by Fnatic. However, Mousesports won the last fight before the 30 minutes mark and stole Fnatic's ancient stack.
Fnatic utilized the Prophet bomb fairly often and while it worked the first few tries, Mousesports adapted to it and counter-ganked when Fnatic rushed in instead. With late-game fast approaching, Mousesports had two Scythe of Vyse carriers while only Fnatic's Nature's Prophet had one.
The game deciding battle happened at the entrance of the Roshan pit. Puck and Tinker happened to be in the wrong place as the Lifestealer-infested Prophet teleported in and killed both the heroes immediately. Naga tried to save the rest of his teammates but ended up dying, together with his teammates. Fnatic quickly took the two barracks on the middle lane and shortly after, Roshan. The game ended when Mousesports failed to defend their bottom barracks from going down.
Game 2
Fnatic drafted an unorthodox Mirana and Night Stalker duo core and ran an even weirder Mirana offensive trilane alongside Visage and Naga Siren. Night Stalker had a terrible time on the middle lane going against the Puck who killed his courier with his bottle in it. However, Fnatic compensated for that with a kill on the Spectre through a net - arrow - soul assumption combo. Fnatic attempted the same a second time but Mousesports was a lot more prepared to go against that. Despite chasing off the Mirana and the Naga Siren, Visage dished Spectre his second death. Fnatic's third attempt however, ended in the death of the Visage and the Naga.
As the first night fell upon the game, Night Stalker was off to work, picking up a kill and an assist at 8 minutes. Night Stalker and Visage attempted to kill Puck twice but failed in both their attempts. Mousesports was able to even the kill score at 8-8 after the overextension by both the heroes. The big turnaround point for Mousesports came 20 minutes in through a well placed Ice Path from the Jakiro leading to a 4-1 trade in favour of the Germans.
Just as we thought we are going into game three, Fnatic was able to slowly climb back by picking off Spectre and Puck, both through a pinpoint arrow by Era towards the edge of the map. After the incidents, Mousesports picked up their game and played more safely , mostly creating space for the Spectre to farm. Mousesports was able to kill Mirana twice, once in their own jungle and another while the rest of Fnatic were taking down Roshan number two.
In a desperate attempt to make something with the Aegis, Fnatic lost another teamfight on the top lane, pushing Mousesports' experience lead to 7,500. Knowing that they could not take a 5v5 fight, Fnatic tried to split push but that did not end well in their favour either. Mousesports engaged Fnatic but Naga Siren used his ultimate to ensure Night Stalker and Gyrocopter get out alive. Visage and Naga himself were not that fortunate and fell in the engagement.
Game two was settled after Fnatic once again, took a bad fight in the Rosh pit due to Spectre's Haunt causing mass confusion in the enclosed area.
Game 3
Fnatic was off to a great start in the deciding game, picking up two kills on their defensive trilane two minutes into the game. Sensing their trilane was a lost cause, Mousesports moved the Rubick to the top lane while leaving Keeper of the Light to stack the ancient camp on the Dire side. Fnatic extended their lead to 6-0 after killing the Keeper of the Light, Rubick and Dragon Knight for the second time. Most surprising of all was the Bounty Hunter cashing in on two solo kills despite going up against two heroes.
With all the experience and gold built up, Fnatic felt ready to tackle the tanky Lone Druid and they were successful in doing so despite sacrificing two supports for it. After the kill, there was simply no way Mousesports could have came back from their 6,000 gold deficit and the fact that Fnatic are gearing up to continue fighting mid-game.
Without hopes to win the mid-game, Black opted to go Radiance but Fnatic was not ready to let the game go late. They grouped up and started pushing all the lanes. One teamfight on the bottom lane later, Mousesports pulled out the white flag and allowed Fnatic to advance.
