As of late, DDT's Ducky has made a couple controversial statements that have earned him a great deal of 'hate mail'. The support play has now had enough.

In his latest blog entry, the Danish player expresses his feelings towards all the hate he has received from a number of sources. He brings up the issue of being hated because of his game play during his days playing for MeT, for sounding cocky and for being honest. This came following Ducky's most recent interview, one which he was supposedly flamed for.

In two of his recent blog posts, Ducky has severely criticised Drayich and his team OK. Firstly, it was their team play and then Ducky seemed very much a flamer himself, completely obliterating PapaDray's mere opinion on magic stick, even though he was just throwing ideas around. The Dane defended himself but stating that he was merely being honest.

Yes, honesty is indeed the best policy, but this rising player has learn the difference between honesty and brutal honesty. It all comes down to the old "Honey, does my bum look fat in this dress?" question. You could choose to say yes and get kicked out your apartment, or you could subtly suggest something else. It could also be linked to sports fixtures. When a captain of a soccer or rugby side is interviewed after a victory, one doesn't hear him bragging about how they dominated the other team, but he is usually rather humbled, admitting that there are things that need to worked on and that the they had won because of a collected team effort.

Each year E-sports is growing in profesionalism, with DotA nearing the forefront. Ducky has learnt to be honest, but in order to be considered as a professional, he will have to learn how to harness his honestly in such a way that is humbling and isn't to the detriment of other players.
