MYM]Moon BeT.FoVTomorrow in Beijing, China the group stage of the tournament will take place. Sixteen players of elite skill will be there to fight for the prize pool of $13,000. Whereas there's mainly Asian players, the Frenchman ToD, who ended last year by winning the IEF and is still on top of the GosuGamers ranking, will be the one to carry the European flag in to battle.

As for him, he's been put in an extremely tough-looking group together with Fly100%, SoJu and Sweet, all of them being highly rated player. This will certainly be a group too look forward to as there won't be any mirror matchups in it since the four players play different races.

Although Group A looks very tight, the other ones are not to be disregarded either in terms of closeness. In Group B the Korean Orc champion Lyn is favoured to take the first place, but it will most likely be a hard struggle for the second. MeetYourMakers' posterboy Moon's main adversary in Group C will probably be xiaOt, but he should watch out for LL who might be able to utilize Moon's somewhat unstable Night Elf mirror matchup to his advantage. Lastly, Group D could also turn out to be a nightmarish group. Even though Yumiko shouldn't be able to be a larger threat, the group looks wide open between the other players.

The tournament will last all week with the last games being played on Sunday. Group A and B are scheduled for tomorrow followed by C and D on Tuesday. From there, the top two players from each group advane to the the double elimination stage.
