
All fifteen qualifier groups have been announced for the upcoming Copenhagen Games tournament.
Copenhagen Games organisers have announced the qualifier groups for the event held at the Øksnehallen in Copenhagen, Denmark. All fifteen groups will adhere to the GSL format, where the winner and runner-up of each group qualifies for the playoffs. Matches are best-of-one, non-veto. The qualifier playoffs will be single eliminations best-of-three, where the top eight contenders will proceed to the main tournament. Those that failed to qualify proceed to the B-tournament. The main tournament will adhere to GSL, where a total of sixteen teams (eight invited and eight qualified) will be split into four groups of four. The group stage will be best-of-one with vetoes. The playoffs for the main event will be single-elimination, best-of-three.

The €30,000 (~$33,500) prize pool will be split as follows:
- 1st place - €17,000 (~$19,000) + Samsung Galaxy S7
- 2nd place - €8,000 (~$9,000)
- 3rd place - €3,500 (~$4,000)
- 4th place - €1,500 (~$1,700)
