The Polish VP had to work hard in order to advance over the Australian Team Immunity. As much as they have had issues to do so they have however qualified for the semi finals and are to face either Natus Vincere or Flipsid3 Tactics ESP.

As VP vetoed both Overpass and Mirage, and Immunity eliminated Cobblestone and Train the Bo3 was set to happen on Inferno, Dust2 and Cache. Virtus.Pro having struggled so much recently meant an opportunity for the Australians of Immunity and they were certainly looking ready to take the challenge.

The match already started off strong with a 4-0 lead for Immunity on CT side which finally got intercepted by the Polish squad that sent them to a force-buy round and subsequently managed to get a 6-4 lead for themselves. In the next round then Mohammed "MOEY" Tizani was waiting in a smoke at Banana and let the terrorists walk by, getting a kill himself and letting byali make a team kill in the following. Nonetheless Virtus.Pro prevailed, in some part even due to Ricky "Rickeh" Mulholland constantly gifting his body to them on Banana. A 8-7 lead for Virtus.Pro as terrorists marked the halft time score.

The second pistol round got really tense when Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas and Chris "emagine" Rowland faced off 1v1 after the latter had made a surprising triple kill. Even though Ryan "zewsy" Palmer started off strong with a Deagle kill onto Filip "Neo" Kubski the Polish team was able to get the following rounds as well, bringing them on a 11-7 lead. The first gun round then went in the favor of Immunity as MOEY and zewsy overcame the man advantage of VP and as a consequence to that the Polish squad had to eco, giving away yet another round to make it 9-11. The Australian momentum got killed off pretty soon though as VP closed off the B bombsite and even the incredible Deagle headshot by emagine in the following eco-round for Immunity did not make the difference needed, as their enemies were now sitting on a 13-9 lead. Even when Immunity got the bomb down and had only Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski to face, he got absolutely huge and clutched it to put his team onto 14 points, coming dangerously close to the map win and after yet another round won the Australians had to rely on a shaky force-buy to make anything happen and get them to double digits. They finally did and put Virtus.Pro onto an eco round and despite four Immunity players being low on HP they managed to get the bomb plant through and brought it to 15-11.

Unfortunately this way not enough and Virtus.Pro ended the game on a quasi buy, 16-11.

Immunity needed to come back on this map, just as much as Virtus.Pro needed to finally get an important match win for themselves.

The Aussies got on to a fast round running up A Long to get onto an empty bomb site. But somehow, even with the full terrorist setup, Neo managed to get onto the site and backstab the player that was sitting there. The terrorists got obliterated thus and VP acquired a first round. Though Immunity bought in the second round and wanted to surprise their opponents with AKs they did not get one single kill. In the following they had to eco, but a fast run onto short granted a 10HP zewsy at least the bomb plant. Finally, Virtus.Pro got a momentum going and brought themselves onto a 7-0 lead. Immunity were plowed down until the 11th round, when they finally got a plant and survived with two members. In the next round then sadly they lost the first two entries, making it effectively impossible to follow up with another round win. In the last round of the first half emagine got his first three kills and in doing so delivered a 1v2 clutch to bring it to 13-2.

Interestingly, Vp were unable to connect to their first half success as they lost the first pistol round as well as the next six rounds. Eventually Virtus.Pro were allowed to get their 14th round after a successful mid-to-B push. Nonetheless it was Immunity who prevailed in the following, not giving any space for VP to strong rounds together. But as Rickeh got pushed in mid, the Polish team acquired an AWP and suddenly managed to get the B bomsite just with pistols, which - unexpectedly - brought them on 15 rounds. In the following they once again opened up B and great work by Pawe? "byali" Bieli?ski and Snax finally won them the match they should already have had in their sakes with another 16-11 score board.
