NEXT is the first team to leave the tournament after putting up a good fight against Virtus.pro in the elimination match. Remaining in Group A are iCCup, RoX.KiS and said team Virtus.pro.
The first day of Corsair Gaming Summer Tournament is played through with a slight upset occurring. Virtus.pro showed up late for the premiere match against iCCup due to a misunderstanding within their team. They were punished with the full time penalty, leaving them without extra time during the drafting phase of game one. A great game came out of it though, with lots of twists and turns, crazy dives and prolonged chases. ICCup won the first game but VP came back in the second one, providing an equally exciting game but with a different outcome. In the third and final game, iCCup managed to take down the TI3-invitee thus advancing to the winner's match tomorrow.
The second match of the day saw RoX.KiS out-maneuvering the unpredictable NEXT from Kazakhstan twice in a row, showing off a solid form with the recent player addition of TpoH. The third and final match of the day was the first elimination match, where the two losing teams of prior matches went up against one another. The first game being a very close one was conquered by NEXT, putting VP on the brink of elimination on Day 1 of the tournament already. However, experience and patience prevailed as the Russian powerhouse managed to turn the series around, winning 2-1 in the end. NEXT is the first team to leave the tournament and Virtus.Pro lives to fight another day.

The winning teams of those two matches advances to the playoffs whereas the third, the losing one of the second match, joins NEXT in elimination.
