The group B elimination match between Mousesports and FlipSid3 Tactics was played on de_overpass, where FlipSid3 came into this match, according to the analyst desk as a slight favourite. However, the German panzer just stomped into this match leaving nothing behind and claiming eight consecutive rounds on their T side. This result wouldn't probably be the same if Johannes 'nex' Maget didn't show his vast talent for this game, having 20 kills after only eight rounds in this match. In the end, FlipSid3 could have been happy with closing this half with only three rounds won, since it could as well have ended in a total disaster for the Ukrainian team.
The second half was opened in a much better fashion for FlipSid3, who claimed the pistol and a couple of the following rounds. We saw them going for the big guns straight away, instead of picking some SMGs to build up a bigger bank. This also shows the pressure they felt. Where Nex stopped, Nikola 'NiKo' Kovac continued. It was a real race between these two for the top fragger of this match. But most important for them, their team took a 16-8 win and will now move on to the decider match of this group.
