CPH Wolves has announced that they have released their CS:GO line-up, effective immediatly.
Copenhagen Wolves has announced that they have decided to shut down their CS:GO division completely. This comes as a no surprise as we could see their line-up undergoing numerous roster changes in the recent period. However, even these changes couldn't result in some satisfying performance for the organization and therefore the whole line-up has been released.
“It is with tears in my eyes i have to tell you that Copenhagen Wolves CS:GO Division will not be rebuilt. With Michael “Friis” Friis getting released from his contract and Mathias “MSL” Lauridsen sold to Team Dignitas, it was left to Acilion, SMF and me to rebuild. We have tried many players lately and after ESL Pro League Finals, Danni “SMF” Dyg decided to stop playing leaving me and Acilion with a daunting task that was too much to handle.I would like to thank everyone behind Copenhagen Wolves, and their awesome sponsors for making this possible in the first place. In regards to the future it’s still unclear what will happen whether or not me and AcilioN will continue to play together only time can tell”” - said a former captain, Nicolai “Hunden” Petersen.
The CPH Wolves CEO, Jakob Lund Kristensen had to say following about this move:
