CIS has drawn the groups and released the schedule for their upcoming LAN Championship in Voronezh, Russia.
Set to start on the 17th, the CIS Championship LAN will feature the some of the top contenders from the region battling it out for their piece of the $13,000 prize pool. The event will feature two groups, which will be played out in a BO1 GSL format. Group A will be filled out by Hellraisers, PiTER, teamyoloswag and USSR, while in Group B FlipSid3, ACES, GGWP and WEPLAY will be battling each other for a favorable seed.
Following the group stage, the double elimination playoffs will be played in BO3, where the winners will continue through the upper bracket while the losers will have to defeat their opponents in the lower to stay in the tournament and make it to the finals. The tournament stream will be managed by Andrey "MPKBK" Ermakov and GreatFrag.
