Selfless Gaming release CS:GO roster

Selfless Gaming announced the release of the entirety of their CS:GO roster. Four members of the team will continue performing at a professional level, whilst Terry "dsr" Ryu plans to return to a full-time occupation outside of eSports/professional CS:GO. The roster will retain its spot in the ESL Pro League, the only difference will be that the team will need to find a fifth player and they will no longer represent the Selfless Gaming brand.

Below is part of the statement issued by Team Owner, Steve "Ryu" Rattacasa:

“This was a very difficult decision to make, as the Selfless brand itself was founded on the back of Counter-Strike, but the time has come for us to take a few steps back and re-evaluate our position. All of our players have been released of their contracts and will be paid a severance, which we included in our player contracts (lots of other orgs don’t, by the way).”

Fnatic confirmed at ESL One: Cologne 2017

The Swedish organisation confirmed its participation at the $250,000 prize pool event hosted at the Laxness Arena in Cologne, Germany this July 7th-9th. So far four top teams have locked in their spots, namely SK Gaming, Virtus.pro, FaZe Clan and finally, Fnatic. Controversy has surrounded the event due to the fact that it is in such close time proximity to the PGL Kraków Major, taking place just a week after the conclusion of ESL One - for this very reason Astralis have opted to miss the event.
