EPICENTER has just announced the groups for its upcoming $500,000 event in Moscow.
The groups have just been announced for the upcoming EPICENTER: Moscow, which will take place October 17th-23rd with $500,000 up for grabs. The eight competing teams, Dignitas and Hellraisers having qualified previously and the other six being invited, will be divided as follows:
The groups will play out in a best-of-two round-robin format. The top team from each group will advance directly to the semi-finals, while the second and third place teams will head to the quarterfinals. The week-long tournament will begin on Monday, with three days of group stages, each team playing one match per day. After the groups have concluded there will be a two day break before the playoffs begin, with the quarterfinals taking place Saturday, and the semi-finals and grand final being held on Sunday. The playoffs will be held in the VTB Ice Hall arena.
