Starting this week, fnatic began operations of a secondary feeder team, fnatic Academy. This new squad will focus on cultivating up-and-coming players in the scene by supplying them with the resources conducive to helping players mature, including such things as coaching and salary, which fnatic hopes will supply them with talent for their main line-ups. Maikelele subs for NiP
The Ninjas in Pyjamas welcomed back former ninja Maikel "Maikelele" Bill this week following the departure of Joakim "disco doplan" Gidetun back to Epsilon. Maikelele will take over as the substitute for Jacob "pyth" Mourujärvi, who is out of the game while recovering from injuries.
CLG Red adds dabears, klaudia
CLG Red is back to a full roster this week following the team's signing of Klaudia "klaudia" Beczkiewicz?, who will take the spot relinquished by Catherine "CAth" Leroux earlier this spring, the first time the team had undergone changes in almost two years. The new recruit is no stranger to competitive play, having competed with Selfless.gg's female roster in three consecutive seasons of ESEA Open, but CLG Red is her first chance with a top team.
Relyks signs with TSM
Following Skyler "Relyks" Weaver's removal from Selfless.gg earlier in the week, manyy speculated that the 21 year-old would be making his way to TSM, as the team had been down to just four since the departure of Timothy "autimatic" Ta; those rumors were confirmed as Team SoloMid issued an official announcement of Relyks' signing with the team.
