The king of Stormwind will officially enter the Nexus soon. For now, Alliance die-hards will just have to watch the hero spotlight again and again.
The latest Warcraft legend to join Heroes brings a new dynamic to the game-- multiple classes:
The spotlight video, per usual, explains the ins and outs of the hero better than most anyone could. At level 10, Varian has access to 3 different heroic abilities that radically change the way he will be played. Not only do these abilities all serve different functions, but they passively change Varian's stats as well.
Meaning that Varian can truly adapt on the fly to whatever needs your team needs. That is, as long as those needs can be filled by a Melee hero with a sword.
Concerns with Varian's power level have been floating around the PTR, but even if he is released in a super-powered state, many players will still rejoice. Muradin and E.T.C have been top-tier warriors for ages, and Varian might as well be a powerful warrior option instead of another weak one (that requires a double warrior composition with either Muradin or E.T.C to be competitive).
The Brawl with the Blues episode devoted to Varian will take place on the 16th.
