ECS have announced their free-to-enter Season 2 Open Qualifiers for both the United States and Europe.??
The ECS League team have announced today on their Twitter that the ECS Season 2 Open Qualifier #2 is now open for both the EU and US. Teams from both regions have the opportunity to secure one of two qualifier placements for each respective region. ECS Season 2 is successor to the spectacular ECS Season 1 LAN Finals event that took place at the SSE Arena, Wembley in London, UK where last June the French G2 Esports managed to take away the Champions' title, along with a cool $250,000.
One interesting thing to note is that the EU Qualifiers have 1024 slots for teams, whereas the US Qualifiers have 512. Of the 1024, 481 have been used, and of the 512, but 45 have been used.
