StarLadder announce the Chinese regionals of their $300,000 continuation of their StarSeries, this time hosted in Nanjing, China.

StarLadder, a popular CIS-based tournament organiser, has announced a continuation of their StarSeries, last featured as the StarLadder i-League Invitational #1 in the Olimpiyskiy Stadium in Kiev, Ukraine, where Virtus.Pro managed to beat Natus Vincere in the Grand Finals and take away first place, along with $50,000. 

The StarLadder i-League StarSeries XV will be featuring a whopping $300,000 in prize pool money, with the LAN finals of the event hosted in Nanjing, China at the Nanjing Wutaishan Gymnasium on September 7th through 11th. The tournament will consist of three stages: Stage 1, Stage 2 and the LAN finals.

Stage one will consist of four groups of four teams, each battling for a spot in the playoffs. The format for matches will be best-of-three round robin, with the top two teams of each group proceeding to the playoffs of stage one. Playoffs will also see best-of-three matches, with the top four teams advancing to stage two of the tournament. Matches will be hosted online.

Stage two of the tournament will see a total of eight teams participating. Three invitees, four qualified teams from stage one and a single team from the Oceanic region. Matches will be best-of-three, with the top three teams advancing to the LAN finals, hosted at the Nanjing Wutaishan Gymnasium, Nanjing in September 7th-11th.

The Grand Finals of the tournament series will take place at the aforementioned Nanjing Wutaishan Gymnasium in Nanjing, China. Eight teams will duke it out for the lion's share of $300,000 and bragging rights as Champions of the StarLadder i-League StarSeries XV.
