Originating from diverse topics such as DotA-mechanics, his career or strategy, Fear took his time to respond and, by doing so, incidentally revealed insights about his DotA-related life journey as well as his opinion on several game-relevant aspects.
When asked, why do you find that a good movement in support/ganking role is the key factor in winning games in this version, Fear answered:
“The game has evolved a lot from the era where "star" players could just win a game alone. It's no longer acceptable to have a "ward bitch" on your team... ... The current version challenges support players to be an active factor in the game... .... No matter how good your solo mid player is, he won't be able to win his lane if the other team has better movement on their support heroes. Esentially, in the highest level of play, your support players are the ones who create the current early game and it's crucial that the current is on your side if you plan on winning early game and teams that know how to capitalize on leads have a much higher success rate.”
In response to another question, he also explains his will to try to change in-game-roles according to what his team needs the most:
“I merely just adapted to what my team needed and what I felt we were the weakest link in at the time. I have always been the type of player that adapted to what kind of player my team needed and tried to mold myself to play that role the best I can. ... ... I don't have plans of mastering a hero so I can get my name stamped on it!”
About his current situation in OK.Nirvana, as well the idea of forming an all American team in the future, Fear had the following to say:
“ I was already in Nirvana before and I knew loveen was credible and was a stable sponsor and when I heard he was going to be backed by OK as well, the choice was a no brainer.... ....I'd love to play with an all-american team, but unfortunately the chances of that are really low. Same with the chances of DeMoN leaving MYM and Merlini coming back to DotA. I think full nationality teams have a higher success rate than most teams.”
