Awesome Cup is back, starting April 4th. The return was ineluctable. We are ready, the Nauts are ready, the prizes are definitely ready - but the question, are you?

Initially we launched the first edition merely with space for 32 teams per qualifier but due to response and high demand from the community these were raised to 128 teams - and were all filled to the brim. Following up the success of first Awesome Cup, we proud to bring you the second coming. This time around it is bigger, it is better and it can take even more teams.

We are thrilled to be a corner stone in the development of the competitive Awesomenauts scene and we obviously wish to continue contributing to future growth and prosperity. April 4th you can celebrate Easter by locking horns in competitive Awesomenauts, have your go at the first qualifier leg of Awesome Cup #2.

New format!

This time around, the qualifiers will consist of 12 legs, six for Europe and six for America. Winning one of those does not directly qualify a team, but winning none of them does not mean you stand without chance either. Quite the opposite as finishing in a position between first and 32th will net you a certain amount of points. Playing multiple qualifiers will then have your team stack up points. In the end the top 16 teams will qualify for the main event, taking place in June.

Each qualifier leg takes is played through and through in one day, there will be one qualifier per weekend, alternating between Europe focused ones and American focused ones.

More prizes, more Alphas!

The awesome Alienware Alpha units of course return for the top finishers of the final event. The Alpha is a computer designed run as console, giving you easy access to play all of your Steam games from your sofa on a bigger screen.
