Blizzard Entertainment has officially announced their convention is coming back for 2008! The location is the same as it will be held in the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA, USA.
The dates for the event are October 10th and 11th and tickets will be $100 (USD) and be going on sale "in the next few weeks". Expect lots of StarCraft and WarCraft information to come out of this event and possibly an announcement of something new (although something big may be coming at WWI in Paris). With three convention halls this year as opposed to two expect the show to be bigger and better than ever!
Expect StarCraft II to be there again alongside the upcoming World of WarCraft expansion Wrath of the Lich King as I expect neither of them to be released at that point.
Also expect tournaments as we have seen at the last two BlizzCon's. In addition to StarCraft, WarCraft III and World of WarCraft tournaments it would be safe bet to think that a StarCraft II tournament is entirely possible.
As always you can expect GosuGamers to be there and provide coverage for all the weekends events! Maybe you will meet some of the staff there! See you in October!
