ESET UK Masters: Crushing defeats for Team Liquid in the Ro8
Results on the final day of the ESET UK Masters have not given Team Liquid the Top 3 dream finish that they had hoped for with only Snute advancing to the Semi-Finals. Having eliminated CranK in the Ro12, Sting is last standing Korean hopeful remaining in the tournament.

Having barely advanced from his group ahead of ForGG on a technicality, BabyKnight dismantled Ziktomini easily in his opening match of day 3. His next match-up started poorly, dropping the first game to TLO before he pulled ahead in the subsequent two close games. TLO evened up the series with a fantastic Swarm Host contain in game 4 and looked to be poised to advance in the final game before sheer overwhelming numbers of Colossus turned the tide in favour the protoss. BabyKnight will face Liquid team-mate Snute in the Ro4 who has shown strong ZvP already today having bested HasuObs in his Ro8 match-up.
JonnyREcco kept the British flag flying high, defeating an under-performing NightEnD convincingly 3-0 in his first round match of the bracket. The team-less zerg stated that this tournament was make of break for him and it showed as he fought tooth and nail in an extremely close series against HeRoMaRinE. In the end the young German proved too much, putting an end to JonnyREccos' tournament hopes with a 3-2 victory. Due to the surprisingly poor results of the Koreans in the group stages, the remaining two were destined face off in the first round of the day to decide who would be able to continue on to contend for 1st place. Sting defeated fellow Korean CranK with ease in the Ro12 before advancing to face Ret in the Quarter finals. Despite his comparatively strong results in the group stages, Ret was unable to take a single map off of Sting whose excellent mechanics put him through to the Ro4 to face HeRoMaRinE.
