The mainstay of European tournaments returns in 2013 with the same five stops from last year and a grand total of 1,200,000 SEK in prize money. The events’ locales will be Stockholm, Jönköping, Valencia, Bucharest and once again Jönköping for the grand finale.

Fans all over the old continent and behind the screens can get excited for this year’s installment of the premier European tournament as its stops takes the players to three different corners of the continent. By extending the range of prize winnings to the top eight players and adding a few new features such as new player booths and an improved interview area the DreamHack team aims to improve the experience of the competitors as well as the viewers.

DreamHack remains one of the tournaments where foreigners are doing considerably well in. Both the 2011 and 2012 Winter editions, however, were won by HerO and by the end of the year we will see whether someone can break his domination of said tourney.
