The hype of the Garena Star League 2013 event and the HoN Tour Grand Finals in Las Vegas is over, now the focus switches to the DreamHack Summer 2013 with the third installment of the DreamHoN World Cup series. One team will also represent the CIS region. 

A year has four seasons, the CIS tournament calender is in sync with those and holds the G1-Series tournament according to those seasons. In the G1 - Winter Cats Gaming dominated the competition and marched to their third consecutive tournament success in a row - now they have to put that Championship on the line again. 

Special stipulation this G1 - Spring is, that not only a huge chunk of cash and the prestige of being the best CIS team can be won, but also a ticket to DreamHack Summer 2013 in Jönköping, Sweden can be won. Two times already has the CIS region send representatives to that event with GA.ru traveling in the Summer of 2012 and Cats Gaming playing in Winter 2012. So far none of those teams have made a huge splash, now they are striving for the third chance.

As usual in the G1 - Series a field of eight teams are entering the competition. Complementing the five pro teams in Cats Gaming, iTS, SW4G, QaM and Load will be three teams that can qualify through the non-pro event that kicks off the entire series. That start will be on April 27th and will end on April 28th. Those two days will determine the last three teams to be in the mix for the $10,000 USD in cash and the entry tickets to the DreamHoN Summer 2013.

The real tournament will begin on April, 29th with the group stage phase. All eight teams will be in one group, every team will play every opposition once, fighting for the four advancing spots. After that the tournament will go into the final stage - the Double Elimination playoffs. 

On March, 12th the entire event will conclude and a new CIS-Champion and the first DreamHoN Summer 2013 participant will be revealed.

Prize Money Distribution:

1. Place - $7,400 USD (Money will pay the trip and accomodations to Sweden) + Entry into DreamHon Summer 2013
2. Place - $1,000 USD
3. Place - $500 USD
4. Place - $300 USD
5.-8th Place - $200 USD
