Astralis beat both dignitas and EnVyUs to make their way to ESL One New York.

The first six spots at ESL One New York, the $250,000 event taking place at the Barclays Center, were given via invitations to certain teams. The last two teams were later announced by ESL via a European and North American Qualifier.

FaZe was up to the bat first and played against GODSENT, beating them 2-1 and eliminating mousesports 2-0 in the semi-finals as well. On the other side of the field we have Astralis who beat both the Danish dignitas and French EnVyUs 2-1 to advance to the grand finals.

The VIPs of the Mirage match were Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen and Markus "Kjaerbye" Kjaerbye, both pulling in 1.59 and 1.41 ratings, leading Astralis to a 16-10 victory.

Astralis's CT side helped them win Train 16-5 and the game 2-0, thus qualifying them for the NY tournament.
