Dignitas take the fall to a stronger than ever Curse this weekend at the North American LCS.
Both of these teams have been duking it out for ages and Dignitas desperately wants their spot back at the top of the LCS charts. Unfortunately for them, Curse once again hindered that possibility and did so quite convincingly. Dignitas started the game out investing a lot into early game, picking up ~750g worth of Red Elixers but still losing the lead early. Although they never strayed too far from being on par with Curse in gold and map control early on, the deficit from the early game investment came back to hurt them.
Cop became his invincible old self and absolutely refused to die, keeping his deaths in the single digits for the entire LCS still, an incredible accomplishment. When the game progressed, Voyboy and Saintvicious also found themselves in a dominant position of strength. Without missing a beat, Curse Gaming sustained their lead and crushed Dignitas minute after minute.
Unfortunately, the gold lead proved too much for even the clever minds of Dignitas to provide any counter play and they withered away until the game ended. Cop came out practically unscathed while Imaqtpie did not have the same fortune in this matchup and was the key to quite a bit of gold for Curse Gaming.
