One of the most prolific manufacturers of gaming peripherals takes over as a new sponsor for EG, replacing former sponsor SteelSeries. Evil Geniuses is thus added to a long list of professional eSports teams with the signature green on their jerseys.

Merely a month after removing SteelSeries from their facebook banner, North America’s Evil Geniuses unveiled the newest sponsor in a fashion that is typical for the team. With its latest addition of the former CLG.eu squad for League of Legends, it is safe to say that Evil Geniuses is doing well in the most prestigious eSports titles, be it an important SPL 4-2 reversal in StarCraft 2 against Team 8 or a 2-1 victory over fnatic in Dota 2’s The Defense.

Min-Liang Tan, Razer co-founder, CEO and creative director:
"Evil Geniuses is one of the best gaming organizations to have ever existed. [...] Their roster reads as a Who's Who of e-Sports and I am looking forward to partnering them in 2013 and beyond. We've always been huge supporters of eSports and the community and this partnership with EG will take us even further."

Alexander Garfield, CEO of Evil Geniuses:
"We are honored to welcome Razer as our official partner for mice, keyboards and mousepads. [...] We have been lucky enough over the years to have received great support from companies that share our passion and enthusiasm for e-Sports, and we are grateful to see Razer join that group. With their support, we'll not only continue to support our players better than any other team in the world, but we'll also be able to introduce a number of great custom products - something we've wanted to offer or fans for a long time."
