After a long wait, Riot is finally releasing Season 3 to the public officially.
We've been in the preseason for quite awhile with Riot tweaking things and drastically changing the way the game plays. Today, we're going to see their work in action as Season 3 officially opens its doors. Players will maintain their ladder ratings from Pre-Season if or until the new ladder system is implemented.
Is the game in the state they intended or will they find stagnation in the current array of issues such as Warmogs stacking and the bruiser domination? We'll find out as Riot's plan unravels. Ranked queues will be disabled for the duration of the application and it is assumed the downtime will last anywhere from 4-8 hours.
