Yesterday was a dream for many but a heartbreak for others.
It was a long day and tragic for the players that flew out with big heads. For others, it was a massive sigh of release as they proceeded from their groups onto the bracket stage. With the dust settling after a 14 hour stream day, Team FeaR and GGU (Formerly Team Dynamic) kicked things off by leading their groups, Team FeaR showing a strong showing despite the gargantuan loss of Aphromoo.
Unfortunately, this meant an early and rather embarrassing exit for former veteran team Epik Gamer. Salce informed everyone that this meant the final resting place for EPIK, a heart-wrenching moment for any old fan. EPIK rests in peace along with Team TowerdiveTV, 1 Trick Ponies, Falafel Gaming, Pulse eSports, CompLexity, Cloud 9, and the Salad Bar.
While the "strongest" teams made it out of group, there were some results that would not have been expected, namely Epik, Pulse, and the prior squad of Quantic Gaming. Meanwhile, Dirtnap Gaming, Meat Playground, The Brunch Club, Team Curse, GGU, and Team FeaR have proceeded.
