Epik Gamer's Dan Dinh will return on the big stage next week
The pool of sixteen teams for the S3 NA live qualifiers is full. Scheduled for Jan 13 are the final face offs which will determine which five teams will join TSM, CLG and Dignitas in the S3 Championship Circuit.
Few will be surprised to see the names of Epik Gamer and Pulse Esports among the finalists. Recently reformed and once again under the captainship of Dan Dinh, EG had virtually no trouble in the Ranked Qualifier bracket and finished in the top four with 6-0 in sets. Same was the faith of Pulse eSports, one of the new and rising teams in North America, whose victorious run was all but unexpected.
Along with EG and Pulse, six more teams emerged from the Ranked Qualifiers: 1 Trick Ponies, Complexity Academy, Falafel Gaming, Team MRN, The Salad Bar and Team TowerdiveTV. All of them should now be packing bags for the offline qualifiers next week, where five S3 seeds and $50,000 in prize money await.
