After an enormous waiting period the Grand Final of the second cycle of the Diamond Division has a winner - Trademark eSports. With that the team recorded it's third consecutive HonTour Event victory and is leading the rankings by more than 3,000 points above compLexity Gaming.

It was one of the longest waiting periods a final in Heroes of Newerth has ever seen, as the match was originally scheduled for December, 23rd. Due to DDOS issues and scheduling issues the match was pushed back with a standing of 2-0 for Trademark eSports. Now, as the Christmas Break came to an end, the official ruling is giving the Europeans the title.

Till the end the scene and forums were still waiting for a reschedule, but the different timezones and commitments of the individual members made it very difficult to coordinate a reschedule time in between all the holidays. Now the third cycle is approaching and so the matter had to be put to a definitive ending.

That victory is marking the third overall event victory for the European team around Drafter Mynuts, that has started it's absolute dominance at the DreamHack Winter festivities in Jönköping, Sweden about two month ago. After that victory the team has not lost a single tournament match and has only conceded a total of three map losses against compLexity Gaming (2) and Stay Green (1).

The victory puts them way on top of the HonTour standing, were the first three teams receive a direct invitation for the HonTour Offline Finals. These coveted three top spots are currently filled by Trademark eSports (8300), compLexity Gaming (5225) and Stay Green (4275) - place four here is QsQ (3250).
