November, 22nd will be the official day when the DreamHack Winter 2012 opens it's gate. Part of these festivities is the big Heroes of Newerth tournament, DreamHon, that will be held for the second time in Sweden.

DreamHack Summer 2012 featured several events, but none had a higher prize pool than the first DreamHon tournament, which included eight teams from several regions of the community. This tournament will be even bigger, as the team count is going up to ten teams and the Latin America will be a newly featured region in the competition. The World Cup flair of the event will be even bigger with teams from all five HoN regions and players from 13 countries.

Group A will feature the heavy favorite for the title with the American-European team of compLexity Gaming, the champions of two DreamHack qualifier events and the most dominant team in the last couple of months. They will have to face off with one of the strongest teams from the DreamHack Destination tournament in GaryJohnson2012, the Malaysian powerhouse Orange eSports, the Brazilian team from paiN Gaming and the Russian Champions of Cats Gaming.

Group B includes the two European teams of QsQ and Trademark eSports going toe to toe as they fight the unofficial battle for European supremacy within the battle for the World Championship. Still the group also features the two time runner-ups from Tt eSports, who have been claiming the second spot in the DreamHack tournaments for two consecutive events now. They are probably looking to snap that streak in order to become the overall champion. Completing the group is the Brazilian team from vTi.Dynasty and Team MRR from Thailand, both heavy underdogs in the group.
