[s]interview[/s]After hearing about Team.iD winning the 1st Division in WGTCL (read more » here) I took a short talk with the head admin of Team.iD - » Guillaume "iD.GioM" Hurbault. In the interview we focused on WGTCL and the team itself, and things like WCG also came up. Here it is:
Raistlin: First I would like to congratulate you to the first place in WGTCL Division 1!
iD.GioM: Thank you ! ^_^ Raistlin: With seven wins in a row you have proven that you are the best clan in Division 1 - Why is it so? How come Team.iD is so good?
iD.GioM: Well of course, the players themselves are the ones who proved to be the best. But I think, considered that we also have the best Clanwar stats, we appear to be a solid team aswell. We have a good admin team, and a friendly atmosphere between all the members, players and admins. 8] Raistlin: Which player would you say was the greatest asset in your team?
iD.GioM: Hard to tell... But iD.Midian probably deserves a special spot in this season for beeing stable and winning almost all his games =) Raistlin: How long has Team.iD been around?
iD.GioM: iD itself has been founded 3 years from now I think, but it has gone through a lot of changes since then. Almost all the members have changed. And to be honest, its much better now ! ^^ Raistlin: So if I got it right, you're the "daddy" in iD?
iD.GioM: xD not really Im "head admin" or something. But all in all were really democratic, and every member has just the same right as others Raistlin: Cool. So, any match in particular that you remember from WGTCL?
iD.GioM: Well... The last one against HnR) of course which was deciding about who was going to win the WGTCL. And a match against RS Gaming, who won last season with a few more points than us. Thats about it, I guess. Raistlin: So, are you going to participate in the next season as well?
iD.GioM: Duh of course :) WGTCL is a good thing as it is every week; good training, and the level is not so bad afterall 8] Raistlin: So, now that you've conquered the WGTCL, what is Team.iD's next goal?
iD.GioM: Uhm well, first goal I can think of is to win next season in the future I guess we would like to stay competitive, and of course enjoy the game :] WCG is also coming up soon, I hope a lot of the iD membres will be sent to Korea ! Raistlin: You mean USA? How good of a shot do you think that the Team.iD players have?
iD.GioM: Oh true USA! forgot x[ Well most of the iD players are also national players, so they do have great chances to achieve high positions in the WCG nationals. For example iD.Twisted has good chances to win the dutch nationals. Raistlin: Will you participate in WCG?
iD.GioM: Me personnaly ? No I won't 8] I don't have the skill ~ ^^ Raistlin: Heh. Well, good luck to all Team.iD players in WCG and the next WGTCL season!
