Three of the four Koreans introduced to apeX earlier this months have already departed from the team. Hofven, manager for apeX published the news on his twitter.

Not only three weeks after restarting their StarCraft 2 campaign, the main core of the roster has departed and leave jookTo and MorroW to be the last remaining representatives of apeX eSports, according to team manager Joachim “hofven” Rittfeldt via his twitter.

@devtwothousand @nadineee hehe, yeah InCa, VINES, TOP are gone from the team though...only @apexmorrow and JookTo are still in the team.

The future of the two GSL Code S runner-ups InCa and TOP as well as Vines is unknown as of now. It is also yet to be disclosed whether or not their departure from the team is linked to apeX’ failure to send the players to DreamHack Bucharest, of which they had to pull out a day prior to the event.

UPDATE:

ESFIworld.com reached out to Rittfeldt for a statement, during which he mentioned a disconnect between General Management and the StarCraft 2 section as the main reason for the course of events:

"...I spoke with Michael Stucher (apeX General Manager) and asked if they were able to support these players and he said yes so we picked them up and so far everything was good until it came closer to the event (Dreamhack Bucharest). I told him to book the flights and hotels 2-3 weeks before the event and he said yes. He told me he would do it the next day then I asked the next day and he had procrastinated...Finally two days before the event he started replying to me again and said he wasn't able to book the flights and hotels."

"I have only done what I have been told to do in apeX eSports, I got orders from a boss. I don't manage the budget, I am only an intermediary between the players and the General Manager of apeX eSports."
